The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

This area caters for all tastes - for those who want to relax and take things easy to those who want to experience the adrenalin rush. It is a mecca for paragliding enthusiasts (solo or tandem available) and those into water sports. The locals are very friendly and helpful - be prepared to haggle in the shops!

The ruggedly beautiful landscape is perfectly mingled with dozens of historical sites bearing the traces of past civilisations. The nearby picturesque ghost town of Kayakoy is close by and excursions run regularly to such places as the Greek island of Rhodes, Ephesus, Butterfly Valley and a host of other amazing places.

High in the mountains, rushing torrents of icy water have cut a narrow gorge through the mountains which created Saklikent Gorge which is an ideal cool refuge on hot days where you can taste delicious fresh trout and other local delicacies. Walking and bird watching enthusiasts will find much to admire.

Only 15 minutes by dolmus (local transport) is the market town of Fethiye which boasts an important marina at the head of a beautiful bay strewn with islands. Above the town, the Lycians cut rock tombs into the cliff face dating back to the 4th century BC. Fethiye Bay was the location for scenes from the latest James Bond film "Skyfall".

The Hisaronu / Ovacik area

The locals are very friendly and helpful - be prepared to haggle in the shops! There are many bars, restaurants and shops in Hisaronu that you'll be spoilt for choice.

There's the opportunity to buy 'designer clothes', carpets, leather goods, Turkish delight to name but a few! 'SummerHaus' is a modern and spacious (110 sq metre) apartment in the Austrian Alps.

There is a very large open plan kitchen, living, dining area with a high wooden vaulted ceiling. This open plan area has access to a large blacony area with fantastic views across the valley to the mountains. It's the perfect area for sundowners and BBQs.

The kitchen is fitted to the highest standards with black granite worktops and a separate island. There is a fitted oven, large hob, microwave, dish washer, fridge freezer and many appliances.

There is a dining table seating 8 people. The lounge area has additional seating: 2 large double sofas, one which is a double sofa bed. There is also a large Plasma TV, with DVD, Satelite Connection and iPod docking station.

There are 3 bedrooms, with plenty of storage and built-in wardrobes:

Flachau is a great place for so many leisure and sport activities, both in winter and summer.

Flachau is in the heart of the Ski Amade Ski Region: 'Austria's Greatest Ski Paradise', which offers an amazing extent of >850kms of piste. Flachau is on the Ski Welt sector, which alone has >250kms of piste. It's also ideally placed to get to the other nearby resorts of Bad Gastein, Hochkonig, Maria Alm, and Schladming: all of which are on the Ski Amade ski pass!

So whether you ski or board there's an unlimited extent and variety of runs; in addition there are hundreds of circuits for the cross country enthusiast as well.

Or if you want to go snow walking through the forest trails, or sledging, or para gliding over the slopes, there's a fantastic choice available. Equally if you want to take it easy: relax in a hot spa or take a horse drawn sleigh ride, there's an equal number of options available.

Tastefully decorated house with all modern concessions with very easy access from Athens airport. The house is perched over Vourkari bay and has breathtaking views. Vourkari is situated 3 km away from the main port of Kea. It hosts the island's marina which is a famous stop over for beautiful yachts and is the centre of the island's night life. Some of the best tavernas, bars and shops are located on this waterfront. The sun sets across the house and the lights from the various boats visiting are sparkling on the bay each summer night making it one of the most picturesque Cycladic island sights, a view to be enjoyed from all angles of the house. Vourkari is 5 minutes away by car from the house and 3 minutes by foot via a pedestrian path that connects the little harbour with the house.

The closest beach is Otzias which is only 2 kilometres away and several beaches can be reached by car or motorbike within 15-30 minutes.

You will need a car or motorbike to go around the island. There is a car rental company at the port, we advise that you book early.

Access from Athens airport is by car to the port of Lavrio (30 minutes) and then a ferry straight to the island's port (1 hour) From the port is house is about 10 minutes drive. Ferries in the summer run from early in the morning till late at night. No booking required unless you are bringing a car on to the ferry.

There are many attractions, all within minutes of the front door. Alternatively the main bus terminal is situated five minutes walk away for those wishing to travel further afield. Antibes, Nice, Grasse and Mougins are all within a short journey by road.

Summer time is exciting and peak time on the Cote d'azur . However, Cannes offers something all year round and The Spring and Autumn, out of main season, is still very busy and buzzy...and less crowded. Cannes also holds fairs and events over Christmas and is a wonderful place to see in New Year !
