The Villamartin development began in 1972 and has evolved into a splendid Mediterranean village of 1500 apartments, townhouses and villas with three excellent 18 hole golf courses at its heart, including the original Club del Golf Villamartin which is a five minute walk from the property. There is also a central square known as The Plaza, with a bank, excellently stocked supermarket, shops, cafes, and numerous restaurants. Horse riding , go carting, water park and many local markets all in the area.

Close to Villamartin are numerous golden beaches with magnificent views over the sparkling blue Mediterranean, and the “white soft sand” that is typical of the Costa Blanca, many beaches along this coastline are regularly awarded the European Blue Flag which is your guarantee of high standards and facilities for the whole family.

The nearby road network will take you to Lamanga in the south and Benidorm in the North. There are also the beach resorts and shopping centres of Alicante, Santa Pola, Torrevieja and the historical towns of Orihuela, Murcia and Elche.
