Stang Korvenn is a traditional stone built longere, situated on the left bank of the River Aulne (part of the Nantes - Brest Canal), 5 minutes from the bustling market town of Châteauneuf-du-Faou, and 20 minutes from the beautiful medieval city of Quimper. The hamlet of Saint Thois with its bar and local grocery shop for morning croissants is less than 1 kilometre away. Wonderful beaches lie within easy reach - 30 minutes away.
Conveniently situated just off the (quiet) main road, it is surrounded by beautiful secluded wooded grounds and direct access to the river, with abundant wildlife. In its 2 acres of gardens there is plenty of space to stretch out and relax, and there are separate outside areas for the house and the adjoining gite, as well as areas that can be shared. There is plenty of space so that separate parties can be completely independent and need not disturb each other.
The farmhouse has undergone extensive rennovations including new family bathroom, oak floors upstairs, rewiring, new kitchen, 2 new ensuite bathrooms, one with large jacuzzi bath, and a luxurious decked area with awning at the rear for alfresco dining with lovely views over the river.
The adjoining gite, Riverside Cottage (see separate listing) has 2 bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom, and can be rented together with the farm house to provide space for 14 to 16 people.
