Southcourt is within a few minutes stroll of the restaurants, bars and shops. Access to the seafront in under 10 minutes. Brighton’s famous North Laines are a 20 minutes train ride and London’s Westend is only just over an hour away.

Southcourt provides versatile accommodation for up to five people The bedroom has a double bed yet still leaving plenty of space for a cot or children’s bed if needed. This room can be arranged as a twin room on request. Two single beds set up in the large living area can be configured to your requirements as either singles or double bed and made up with fresh linen. If you are flying into London Gatwick airport it will cost you around £40 by taxi to get to the apartment. A taxi will take 30 minutes from Gatwick and about an hour and a half from Heathrow. Please take a receipt or note down the license number if you leave anything in the taxi, it will be easier to find your items if you have the license number of the taxi.

Arriving by taxi you should get out at Southcourt Road, by Worthing Station Car park, The Apartment is at the bottom of a short private road, directly opposite the entrance to the station car park.

Heathrow Airport:
You need to get to London Victoria Train station to get the train to Worthing.
There is a good choice of options for transferring between Heathrow Airport and Victoria train station. There is no single 'best' option. What is best for you depends on your attitude of compromise between cost, speed, comfort and location of your destination in London.
The fastest, most reliable options are rail based from the cheap and crowded London Underground to the expensive, fast and roomy Heathrow Express train.

London Underground Train. For most people this is going to be by far the cheapest transport option. Underground trains leave Heathrow about every 5 minutes throughout the day you take the Piccadilly Line (Dark Blue) to Green Park then change onto the Victoria Line (Light Blue) to Victoria. There is a flat fare to London Victoria which includes interconnecting with other lines. Downside is crowded carriages in London and negotiating escalators, steps with luggage.

Gorgeous House with Swimming Pool in Cornwall 'sleeps 11-19'

This amazing property is full of character and original features including smooth, granite floors. It's a unique and very special building.

This is our old family property that we have been letting for holidays since 2009. We have won awards and many wonderful reviews from happy guests.

The main property sleeps up to 11 people and has a heated swimming pool and private gardens, land, stream and ponds. There are 3 other properties alongside which can also be used by larger groups for up to 19 people to stay. We often host large groups of family and friends.

The property is located along a very quiet lane in North Cornwall and provides you with complete privacy. You don't need to see one person for your entire stay.

Inside we have many bedrooms, bathrooms, two huge lounges with open fireplaces, a massive farmhouse kitchen. The house is full of charm and unique features.

Outside you can walk around the grounds, use the heated swimming pool, enjoy the landscape or just listen to the silence of staying within the heart of gorgeous cornish countryside.

Within our tiny hamlet we have 50 metres away the 11th century Colan Church. Otherwise, it's pretty much just us and the local wildlife.

This is a sensational property. You will have stayed nowhere like this so please get in touch to discuss availability, prices and more about our facilities.

We're only 3 miles from Newquay Airport and the Atlantic Ocean BUT ... we're tucked away down country lanes so a car and/or bicycle is fairly important. However, you can organise a food delivery at the start of your holiday and never have to leave or see anyone else for the rest of the week!!

Leisure notes:
This is Cornwall. Best outdoor activities in the UK. Very cool surfing schools just 3 miles away. Golf courses all over the place and the wonderful Eden Project just 10 miles away.

Other notes:
Bags of space in and around the property. Totally private. Car Port for many cars. 11 acres of space to walk, relax and enjoy.

Directions:
Travelling by road: Take the M5 to Exeter and then join the A30. Exit the A30 at Indian Queens/Newquay junction. Follow road to Newquay until driving through Mountjoy and turn right down smalllane marked "Colan Church". Very narrow lane so drive carefully but follow for just less than a mile - down and out of a dip - and on the left, just before you arrive at a tiny crossroads with the church, is Colan Barton.

Taking the train: The rail service from London and other main line stations to Bodmin Parkway (north-east of Watergate Bay) is fast and frequent, while Newquay station, on the branch line, is just a few minutes drive away. For a little added luxury, the daily sleeper service from London Paddington (which stops at Bodmin) offers a great way to arrive in style. The station is about 20 minutes away but we can arrange a transfer.

Travelling by air: Newquay Airport, only 3 miles away, has daily links with an increasing number of regional airports around the UK, including London (6 flights a day), Leeds/Bradford, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Teeside and Dublin + seasonal links to france, germany, spain, switzerland and austria.

Spacious and idyllic seaside bungalow in Croyde, Devon

It is perfectly located in the village, within easy walking distance of the award winning sandy beach and also the thatched cottages, shops, pubs and restaurants in the centre of the village.

Under new ownership from the 2011 season, this property has been renovated and redecorated in order to provide high standard holiday accommodation.

There is a decked area at the front of the property, which has sea views across the sand dunes and bay to the headland on the far side. This is ideal for a quiet glass of wine in the evening or now that a gate has been added the children can play safely, without Mum and Dad worrying. From the decking, large patio doors lead into the large open plan living area, with a TV, DVD player and video recorder and sofas in the lounge, which is over 24 ft in length and then two small steps lead up into the dining area, with its large pine table and chairs and the fully equipped kitchen. There is also an iPod / iPhone dock / charger and CD player in this area.

There is free Wi-Fi available.

Sea Dunes is ideal for larger families or two families, as it will sleep 8 people easily and up to a maximum of 10. There are four bedrooms in total, two double bedrooms (one of which is en suite), a twin room with two single beds, a bedroom with bunk beds and blackout blinds and a double sofa bed in the lounge.

At the back of the property there is a large decked area with garden furniture which is ideal for BBQ's. There is also an outbuilding that has facilities to store surf boards and wet suits.

Guests can also use the garage for storing a car, surfing equipment or beach toys etc.

THE WEST COUNTRY / DEVON REGION:

The award winning beaches of Croyde, Putsborough, Saunton and Woolacombe are all within easy reach. Croyde beach is within 5 minutes walk of Sea Dunes.

On the north coast are the very picturesque villages of Lynton and Lynmouth. In Lynmouth there is a harbour and cliff railway, salmon and trout fishing and a great choice of shops and restaurants.

The tiny, secluded fishing village of Clovelly is easy to find, with its wonderful old cobbled, traffic free streets that descend 400 feet to the harbour, protected by an ancient stone breakwater.

Breathtaking coastal scenery and fantastic walks can be found at Hartland Quay. It is great for families with rock pools to explore, swimming in the sea or simply to lie on the sand and enjoy the sunshine.

A short distance to the north is Ilfracombe, which contrasts its Victorian fishing village origins with its modern galleries and top class restaurants. It also boasts a vibrant nightlife from theatres to pubs and clubs.

The Milky Way Adventure Park is located on the A39 near Clovelly. It boasts all weather entertainment, Devon's biggest Roller Coaster and fantastic live shows.

The Big Sheep is also on the A39 Atlantic Highway, near Bideford. This attraction has something for everyone - rides, shows, bottle feeding lambs, an indoor play zone and an outdoor combat zone. There are dog trials, duck trials and sheep shearing. There are even sheep races complete with jockeys - such as Woolie Carson. If it all becomes too much, you could always retire to the on site brewery!

AVAILABILITY NOTES:

Changeover day is Saturday for weekly rentals from the beginning of June through to the end of September and also half term holiday weeks. Outside of these periods I am happy to be flexible regarding arrival and departure days and also the length of rental - please enquire.

We are extremely competitively priced being the cheapest on this site in Cheltenham at the moment. As most people have their own taste in shampoo, shower gel, tea and coffee etc we don't supply these items when we are offering a very cheap deal as it puts the price up. (nothing is for free) and with shops only 2 minutes away, anything that you need is easily available.

Your really can walk to many places from our apartment. We walk everywhere when we stay there. Ideally situated for Cheltenhams many Festivals and Race meetings. Ideal situation if you want a shopping spree. 6 minutes walk to the Beautiful Everyman Theatre.

A stunning holiday home situated in BeaulyScotland

Attractive modern bungalow country location set in large lovely garden with lawns back and front. It is centrally situated for exploring the Highlands of Scotland and Islands. The property is in a country setting, easy commuting to Loch Ness in just 7 miles or the busy city of Inverness capital of the Highlands with its river running through and nine bridges over the Ness. It is also near the beautiful village of Beauly with its amenities such as cafés restaurants and shops, hotels and banks only 5 miles north over Lovat Bridge and the road to Dingwall.
There is much wildlife:
Squirrels often running along the fence and woodpeckers, red kites, and buzzards around Beauly and of course deer in the adjacent forest. This is a quite peaceful area with many walks and scenically beautiful. The garden here is well kept and loved and spacious enough for a game of football or cricket. There’s lots to do in the area although car is a must but it’s a good idea to take the train from Beauly station to Inverness or Kyle of Lochalsh (over to Skye).
Beauly village is a vibrant pretty village with an attractive square with many shops cafes restaurants indian and chinese and fish and chip shop, banks and hotels butchers and a best in Scotland winning bakers.
Cherry trees line the square and in the evening they sparkle lights. There is a pipe band and highland dancers on a Thursday night in summer.
The river Beauly runs through and offers good salmon fishing. There are also plenty lochs to fish.
A number of golf courses in area for keen golfers.
The Black Isle Show is a big attraction first Thursday in August and the amazing rock festival Tartan Heart at Belladrum first weekend also and the Moy gamefare also beginning of August.
There are beaches at Rosemarkie Fortrose 10 miles and Nairn also Portmahomack and Balintore further north.
The Ferry from Scrabster to Stromness Orkney is a good day trip and John O Groats also can be reached in a day. Also Skye and Fort William and the famous and highest mountain in Great Britain Ben Nevis can be climbed even by amatures.
Sail on Loch Ness or Caledonian Canal.
Loch Ness only 7 miles over heather clad hills to Drumnadrochit.
