There's also a kitchen (with hob, oven, washing machine and fridge freezer), lounge (with satellite television and a DVD/CD player), dining area and two bathrooms. It has a fantastic private solarium that's a real sun trap and is fully equipped with patio furniture and sunbeds. There are also portable sunbeds that can be taken over to the pool. It has a gated driveway for parking.

The property can be used comfortably all year round - it's air conditioned throughout which can be switched to heating in the cooler months and there's a portable radiator that can also be used for additional heating. Outside there are all-round wind breaks so that you can still sit out when the weather's not so good.

The spacious outside patio is great for entertaining and comes complete with table and chairs and a Chiminea BBQ and, if the sun gets too much, there's an awning to help cool things down.

There's plenty of room for children to play but there's also a play park just 2 minutes' walk away. On the development, there's a supermarket, bank and internet cafe, along with family-friendly bars (with pool tables) and restaurants, and crazy golf just around the corner.

Within a 5 minute drive you'll find:
• The popular town of Cabo Roig, with it's "strip" of bars, restaurants and shops. Cabo Roig is on the main bus route and is located on the main coast road, the N332. The buses will take you as far as Alicante and Cartagena.
• Blue-flag sandy beaches: La Caleta, La Glea and Cala Capitan that offer all types of watersports.
• Villamartin and its shops, bars and restaurants.
• Sports facilities such as gymnasiums, tennis courts, football pitches, horse riding, etc.
• Three superb golf courses: Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor.

Just outside of Cabo Roig is La Zenia with more bars and restaurants (and a Subway!) and the lovely La Zenia beach. In between Cabo Roig and La Zenia there's also a go-kart track.

Within a 15 minute drive is Torrevieja which offers:
• A charming town full of shops, bars and restaurants with a lovely promenade and marina.
• The Ozone complex with casino, ten-pin bowling, crazy golf, restaurants.
• Las Habaneras shopping centre with 3 storeys of shops.
• Aquapolis water park, Pitch & Putt.

In the opposite direction 15 minutes' drive away is San Pedro del Pinatar where you'll find:
• Information Centre Regional Park: for interesting facts about the nature reserve including its fauna and flora.
• Marina: relax at the cafes overlooking the boats.
• Salt Marsh & Sand Dunes: take a walk or cycle along any one of the marked trails that lead through this nature reserve.
• Town Centre: selection of shops, bars and restaurants centred around the church square.
• Lo Pagan Mud Baths - the perfect free spa treatment!
• Mar Menor - unique sea lagoon. The enclosed waters are always calm, never colder than 18oC and are very rich in salts and iodine making it unique.
• Dos Mares shopping centre.

Further afield are:
• Cartagena (50km): historical maritime port with shops, restaurants and bars.
• Alicante (72km): the capital of the Costa Blanca; with it's history and lovely marina it's a great place to shop, eat and explore.
• Benidorm (123km): blue flag beaches, family-orientated theme parks: Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, Aqualandia, and Mundomar.

The airports are Murcia (approx 20 minute drive) and Alicante (approx 45 minute drive).
